Two Deere dealers become one in West Country

Devon-based John Deere dealer, James Mason, has completed the purchase of Somerset dealer Kings Farm Machinery of Dulverton. The branches will continue to operate with all existing staff, trading as Kings at Dulverton and Masons at Chudleigh. “This is very much business as usual, while also strengthening our dealership presence in the south-west of England,” says Masons dealer principal Roger Prior. For John Deere, marketing manager Chris Meacock adds: “Both Masons and Kings are long established John Deere dealers and are committed to our new Dealer of the Future initiative. This move reflects John Deere’s efforts to continue building the strongest possible dealership network for agricultural and turf equipment in the UK.”
