French machinery maker Kuhn has added two models to the top end of its mounted mower range. The GMD 3110 and 3510 disc mowers offer 3.1m and 3.5m working widths respectively, and incorporate Kuhn's Optidisc cutter bar and Lift Control facility – the operator raises the mower at the headland without having to alter the three-point linkage setting. Articulation is central, which is reckoned to give improved ground following at higher travel speeds. List prices are £10,113 (GMD 3110) and £10,597 (GMD 3510), and Kuhn fits its new Fast-Fit blades as standard to both machines.
