Updates to the Mzuri 3m and 4m Pro Til drill trailed range for 2012 include the introduction of a revised seed hopper shape - the 2,800 litre hopper now has a tapered configuration to provide the operator with a view of the soil engaging elements when they are in work. The new hopper can be used for 100% seed or divided 60:40 for seed and fertiliser. Mzuri has also developed a new seed metering system which, by increasing the air pressure in the seed delivery venturi, maintains the required application rate at higher operating speeds. Air is sourced from the heat exchanger – its warmth also helping to improve the flow of seed and fertiliser in damp conditions.
