Pel Systems had the Ezy Fill E8000 on their stand which allowed farmers to boost the capacity of mounted fertiliser spreaders. This uses an 8,000kg capacity hopper with a rear linkage for carrying a mounted fertiliser spreader. An auger is used to keep the spreader topped up with product while a moving floor activated by a laser sensor directs the carts contents to the auger.
A key advantage of the system is increased clearance says the company which is manufactured in Ireland and the ability to use the spreader independently as well as update it at a reduced cost. Speaking of prices the standard Ezy Fill carries a price tag of £18,000 and includes a sprung drawbar and 420/85R38 rubber.
The firm adds it is also possible to use the E8000 for filling seed drills with an additional auger adding to the machine’s versatility.
