A multi-function joystick and ErgoDrive software package join the list of control options for Vicon sprayers. The arm-rest mounted joystick is said to deliver increased functionality and operator comfort, offering up to 24 functions that can be programmed in according to an individual operator’s preference. It can be retrofitted to any Vicon sprayer that uses Flowmate or Flowmaster controls, and can even be operated with the firm’s Tellus ISObus control for working any ISObus-compatible implement. As for the ErgoDrive software, this package enables the sprayer operator to group up to four control functions into the one command – for example, main spraying on/off, boom height, drawbar/axle steering and boom slope correction – for a simpler headland turn. ErgoDrive can be retrofitted to Vicon’s Phoenix and Explorer trailed sprayers.
