Budding Gloucestershire engineer wins Claas scholarship

Harper Adams student Jonathan Bradbeer is the winner of the fourth Claas scholarship for agricultural engineering. Currently in his second year on Harper's MEng Agricultural Engineering course Mr Bradbeer will have will complete his one year placement at Claas headquarters at Harsewinkel, Germany as well as having his second and fourth year study fees paid for. As part of the Scholarship there is also the opportunity of a summer placement at Claas UK. The Scholarship was instigated by Helmut Claas to encourage a wider spread of agricultural engineers particularly for field testing. The scholarship is annually open to second year students on either the MEng/BEng or BSc Agricultural Engineering, or the BSc Agricultural Engineering Marketing and Management courses at Harper Adams. The Claas Group currently has engineering centres in America, India, Hungary, Russia, France and Germany.
