Agritechnica: Plenty of metal in Swedish plough

There is no shortage of metal in Overum’s latest plough – the fully mounted Xcelsior EX range. Suitable for tractors up to 300hp, the plough line is available in four-, five- and six-furrow formats with shearbolt or hydraulic auto-reset protection. Manual variable furrow width is from 35cm to 55cm in five increments.
The quick-hitch cross shaft can be Cat III or IV, has two height positions and the turnover shaft is 180mm in diameter. And in the same headstock area, an alignment ram is used to straighten the plough so that it clears the deck when spinning over.
For transport the plough is carried on the land wheel.
