Väderstad is now able to cut fertiliser use on its Rapid 300C Super drills. This grain and fertiliser version of the box drill now has tramline function for the fertiliser.
There is also a new version of the Rapid for farmers mainly working on ploughed land. This does away with the System Disc cultivation module and replaces it with a stronger cross board for levelling out ploughed ground and also makes the Rapid shorter. Väderstad says the new Crossboard Heavy helps reduce the draft requirement so just 100 to 120hp is needed for the 3m model to achieve an ideal forward speed of 10 to 12km/hr.
