Agritechnica: Kuhn launches new tedder

Kuhn has developed a new 10.8m tedder that has the transport wheels positioned in front of the rotors. The French firm says that this reduces the weight on the central rotor bogey wheels.
The GF10802T uses 10 smaller diameter rotors with no maintenance required for the gearboxes. Larger wheels reduce the risk of damaging the sward and the rotors can be tilted for the headland run preventing grass being thrown outside the field boundary.
