German sprayer manufacturer Inuma has unveiled a 9,000-litre self-propelled that uses an articulated Hydrema dumper skid unit and cab. For those not familiar with Inuma, the company has produced spray packs for both Leeb and Challenger, and it also has its own range of trailed machines with capacities up to 14,000 litres.
The Inuma-Trac HTI9000 self-propelled can be fitted with steel or aluminium booms measuring up to 36m, and their eight sections are controlled by GPS switching. A Müller Elecktronik Comfort terminal keeps the driver updated on sprayer functions, and there’s a digital dash for machine performance monitoring.
A Hydrema 9012D articulated dumper provides the base unit, on to which are added a 131hp Perkins motor and six-speed ZF mechanical box; top speed is 40km/hr. A Rexroth loading-sensing system looks after hydraulic demand.
Up in the cab the manufacturer claims an impressive noise level of 73dB(A). One major disadvantage, though, is a lack of suspension, so operators must rely on the seat and tyres to take out the bumps.
List price for the HTI9000 is €190,000. |
