Agritechnica: And the big one said “roll-over”

Joskin is showing a whopping 55m³ forage trailer at Agritechnica, complete with a hydraulically powered roll-over sheet. Export manager Christophe Bultot explains that the market for this size of trailer is about 80 units per year – mainly in Holland, Germany, Denmark and Belgium. In these countries, the hauler reaches the max load limit of around 10t per axle when carrying 26t of crop.
DIN volume of the tridem trailer is 55m³ but, if the crop is heaped on top, this stat increases to around 60 to 62m³.
Other Joskin trailer news extends to the introduction of two more dump trailer sizes – 15t and 17t – filling a gap in the Trans KTP range from 11t to 20t. In fact, the new trailers are pretty much the same as the firm’s larger 22t tandem-axle model, with the exception that the sides on the 5m long body are now 75cm high and not 95cm.
