Agritechnica: Four-pots join M family |
Clamouring for their bit of the limelight on the Deutz-Fahr stand are the Agrotron M410 and 420. Both are four-cylinder units kicking out 143hp and 158hp at rated speed.
Delve into the back-end and you'll find a four-stage semi-powershift transmission offering a total of 24 or 40 ratios. There are four pto speeds to choose from, and the operator benefits from the standard Power S control system. Overall length measures a compact 4.05m.
Those that were hoping to get a glimpse of the X730 will have to wait until 2011. The absence of this 300hp plus conventional tractor is said to be linked to development of the Stage 3b engine.
