Tractor maker Deutz-Fahr is going to reveal its show-stopping eight-wheel, 600hp artic model tomorrow morning at Agritechnica. The Agro XXL uses a Deutz V8 to produce its muscle, and drives through an 18F/6R gearbox.
And Deutz certainly isn't the only manufacturer that's looking to add big power. Claas will be debuting its new Xerion flagships, the 4500 and 5000, which feature Caterpillar engines developing outputs of around 450hp and 500hp coupled to ZF Eccom 5 stepless transmissions.
Terrion is also here in Hanover with its 7360 rigid tractor, and Belarus will be exhibiting the future of tractor design with its electric tractor.
