Agritechnica: 400hp conventional tractor on the horizon

It is entirely feasible that a Russian manufacturer could be the first firm to break the 400hp barrier for a conventional, non-artic tractor. Terrion ATM is displaying the 253kW/345hp rated 7360 model at the show, and has plans to launch a 400hp+ model in 2010/2011.
For now, though, the focus is on what's here: in other words, the 7360. Powered by a Deutz TCD 2013 LO6 4V six-cyl motor (Stage 3a), the tractor drives through a ZF Eccom 5.0 stepless transmission that is itself rated up to 500hp+ and is capable of 50km/hr travel.
Also part of the package, which may come as a surprise to those who associate Russian tractors with a low spec, are load-sensing hydraulics (including the option of a 220-litre/min pump), hydropneumatic front axle suspension, cab suspension and air-conditioning.
