CNH Global and Kamaz have finalised their 50:50 deal to build construction and agricultural machinery in Russia with a planned investment of US$70m.

Amazone has updated its shallow disc cultivator with the Cators+, which uses 510mm diameter serrated discs.

Offered in working widths of 3.0m and 3.5m it can be used direct into stubbles or for knocking down ploughed ground.

This latest version sticks with the clamp and rubber sausage arrangement to allow the disc to break back, while the scalloped disc also has maintenance free bearings.  read more

The 3570 is the latest addition to Kuhn’s Primor feeder/bedder range.

The 3m3 hopper can hold a pair of 1.5m diameter round bales and is capable of blasting straw up to 18m or distributing long fibre forage.

Like the larger Primor 5570 the newcomer has a hydraulically operated regulator to the feed rotor so the operator can alter the intake to suit the crop.  read more

The latest generation of JF-Stoll GXF front mounted mower conditioners now feature ‘Contour Float’.

This new arrangement provides up to 12° of sideways movement as well as 55cm of vertical travel and 16° of fore and aft tilt so the cutterbar stays in contact with the ground.

JF-Stoll says the trailed and suspended headstock also means the mower moves back and up when it encounters an obstacle.  read more

Farms with a slurry filling pump for their lagoon may be interested in the latest top tanker development from Joskin.

Initially designed for Nordic countries the Booster Storm centrifugal pump fitted to the tanker is used for circulating slurry in the tank during transport preventing sediment from settling and then dispensing.  read more

It has been 50 years this month that green and yellow John Deere Lanz 28hp 300 and 36hp 500 tractors started rolling off the Mannheim production line in Germany.

Since April 1960 over 1,335,000 tractors as well as wheeled and crawler loaders have been produced at the John Deere Werke Mannheim factory.  read more
