Buying a new tractor - Valtra, NH or Deutz

Hello, i'm a new member of forum but i have been reading it before, now i decided to register, because we will be buying a new tractor soon and we need some opinions and sugestions. We`re thinking of Deutz fahr m650, New holland t7040 (or 7050) and Valtra t191. Whic one is more reliable, and better buying?

(Sry about my bad English, but it`s not my native language, because im from slovenia, thats little country near Italy).

What do you plan on using the tractor for? There are a good few New Holland T7000 tractors sold here in the UK now and they seem to be doing well. I have a friend who is a fitter for a Valtra dealer and he says there is not much to go wrong with the T02 series tractors but he would recommend air brakes.

All tractors you suggested are good, you must choose tractor regarding dealer backup and distance. NH would be good buy, but i can't exclude DF either.

Yes, I know, but we`re a little bit sceptical about NH-s gearboxes, because i suppose that gearboxes on t6000/t7000 PC/power command and RC/range command, are the same as on the previous series of TM-s. And here close to our farm are two NH TM-175 and they`re having a lot of troubles with gearboxes.

And will be using tractor mostly on the field and in the autumn on the road to pull a trailer.

As I know gearboxes in TM-s and T7000 series aren't completely identical, 7000 series gearboxes are beefed up a bit.

The TM long wheel base and T7000 box is pretty similar but one of the big differences between the two models is the T7000 has something like 50% larger cooling capacity as hot oil caused a lot of problems in the TMs. Not heard of anyone complaining of transmission problems in the T7000s. The later TMs were supposed to be okay.

    Ok, thanks.
I have one question more, can you buy DF TTV-serie with ZF gearbox (like on the m650) or do they come only with step less gearboxes? I`m a little bit confused about that, because I`ve been visiting 2 diferent dealers, and each one told me different.

The ZF CVT is in the Agrotron TTV610, TTV620 and TTV630 which are 165hp, 184hp and 224hp max output.

    While the 40x40 transmission is in the Agrotron M620 166hp, M640 181hp, M650 192hp at rated outputs.

From what I remember the powershift and CVT tractors have different horsepower outputs even if they are both a 620 for example.

I wrote somewhere in here from my experiences with DF TTV gearboxes, Had a new gearbox under warranty, but I don't trust these gearboxes any more :?
